Musical Theater is a combination
of jazz dancing, singing, vocal technique and acting. Musical
Theater is the form in which dance, music and drama are integrated
to entertain. This class focuses on the whole dancer; voice,
expression, and movement.
The Musical Theater Company is made up talented individuals
ranging from 6 years of age to adult. They have performed
scenes from Annie, Snoopy, The Will Rogers Follies, The Grinch,
Alice in Wonderland, The Sound of Music, Gypsy, Modern Millie,
and Fiddler on the Roof.
In March of this year, the Musical Theater Company presented
their first full length musical, Dorothy in the Emerald City,
based on the story of the Wizard of Oz.

Mission Statement
The Musical Theater Company staff
is committed to developing the artistic expression on an individual
basis. Utilizing the arts to improve communication skills,
build self esteem, and enhance each child’s talent in
a wholesome way is our goal. Our hope is to bring fun-filled
family entertainment to the community. Our desire is to show
the world that kids can do above and beyond what is expected
if given the chance to excel with positive direction.
